Heather Holm is an award-winning author and nationally sought-after speaker who is passionate about the world of bees and the native plants that support them. Her latest book, Bees, was published in 2017 and won 6 awards including the 2018 American Horticultural Society Book Award.
Heather will provide valuable information on how gardeners, homeowners and green industry professionals can conserve the native bees’ habitat. Her presentation will be visually reinforced by our recently opened Hillside Pollinator Garden. The Hillside Pollinator garden includes a half acre of seasonal terraced floral beds that will play a major role in caring for our region’s pollinators.
Join us on Thursday, September 26. As part of the Garden’s Lecture Series, a reception will begin at 5:30 pm to meet Heather Holm, visit the Hillside Pollinator Garden, and enjoy light refreshments. The presentation will begin at 6 pm.
